Summary

Not everyone followed The Way. May Jews still did not believe Jesus was the Messiah and persecuted the Jews who followed The Way. Nevertheless, the followers of Jesus were bold and continued to tell others about the Messiah.

One day, Jesus appeared to a man named Saul who was persecuting followers of Jesus. He believed and became one of the first missionaries. His name was changed to Paul, and he wrote many of the books in the New Testament.

Peter, one of Jesus's 12 disciples, had a vision one day of God telling him to eat unclean animals. God told Peter not to call what He created unclean. After the vision, Peter went to the home of Cornelius, a Gentile, and told him and his family about the Jesus. Cornelius and his family believed and received the Holy Spirit. When the Jewish followers of Jesus realized the Gospel was for Gentiles too, they glorified God!

Did You Know?

The resurrection fulfill many prophesies and promises in the Old Testament.

Guards would have been killed for "falling asleep" while on duty.

They never would have made up such a story.

If there had been a dead body, somebody would have spoken up and provided a body to quite Jesus's followers from spreading the Good News that He was alive.

Every "theory" on what really happened can be refuted with facts and testimony.

All but one of the disciples and many of Jesus's followers were killed for spreading news that He was alive .

That many people would not die for a lie...
